That computer was a great price, and we bought it in a retail store. I didn't want to get one for each of us because I hadn't personally purchased Acer before and wanted to make sure it wouldn't be a piece of junk. After over a year of daily use, our first laptop is still running just as perfectly as when we took it out of the box, so we were a "go" for purchasing a second one for me. We both use our computers to play WoW and it runs perfectly on the "good" graphics setting.This laptop is a slightly better model than our first one, and wasn't that much more expensive. The upgraded graphics card and audio output of this model is fantastic, a definite step up from last years purchase. I haven't had this specific laptop very long, but based on the other Acer we purchased, I expect this one to last a while also. My only suggestion is to spend a couple hours when you first get it... This is my 5th not counting my wife's Acer. I use this to surf the net, download to Itunes and run Excel and Word. I am not a gamer so if you are you should probably check some other reviews. I have had this almost a month now and Windows 7 seems to be very stable on this computer. My last one had Vista and it was very slow and required a lot of reboots. I usually have 14 or 15 tabs open in Firefox and this computer operates flawlessly. The keyboard with the 10 key took a little getting use to. I think it is because when you type you are not in the center of the screen. After a week or so I adapted. Anyway, for the price it is a great computer for me. Be sure to take the time to delete all of the advertising programs that come with it and go into msconfig and delete anything from the startup menu that you do not truly need, which is most of it. and the computer will boot quickly and at least do everything that I need a computer to do...
